The Speckeld Band
CHAPTER 1: THE FRIGHTENED LADY
Dr Watson and Sherlock Holmes was a famous detectives, recive the visit of Helen Stoner. She tells them that her twin sister, Julia, died two years ago in strange circumstances and now she's frightened of her own life and that they can help her.
CHAPTER 2: A MISTERIOUS DEATH
Hellen tells them About her sister. She got engaged two years ago. One night before the wedding she came to Helen's room to ask her if she heard a strange whistling and the sound of metal clanging. Later that night, Helen heard Julia screaming. She went to Julia's room and she heard the same sounds that Julia described to her. Julia said to her: "It was the band!The speckled band!" A minute or two later, Julia died.
CHAPTER 3: HELEN'S FEARS
Hellen tells Holmes and Watson more about her sister's death. She says that her stepfather it's very violent, he almost went to prision once for attacking his servant. She says that she recently got engaged and that her stepfather's doing some repairs in the house and he's making her use Julia's room. Last night she heard the same strange noises that Julia heard.
CHAPTER 4: AN ANGRY VISITOR
Grimesby Roylott followed his step-daughter and he wants to know what she said to Holmes and Watson. He threats Homes. Holmes went to check the will that Helen's mother left: Roylott would control the money but only until her daughters got married. The detective duo go to Helen's house. When they tell Helen that her stepfather knows that she visited them, she says that her life is in even greater danger.
CHAPTER 5: A STRANGE ROOM
Holmes and Watson visit Helen’s home to investigate her sister’s death. They discovered that Grimesby wasn’t doing any reform. They went to see Julia’s room. There was a fake bellrope for calling servants; there wasn’t a bell, just a hook. The ventilator went through to his room, not to the fresh air outside and the bed was fastened to the floor. They went to investigate Grimesby’s room.

Inside Grimesby's room, they found a saucer of milk in the floor and Helen told them that her stepfather collects strange animals from faraway places and that he’s got a cheetah and a baboon. They also found a safe, a chair where someone has been standing on and a strange stick. Holmes gave Helen instructions and they left before Grimesby returned.
CHAPTER 7: THE SIGNAL
Holmes explained Helen the plan: when her stepfather will go to bed, she has to send them a signal. She has to put a lamo in the window and then go to her old room and lock the dor. Roylott arrived. Holmes thought he solved the mystery and talked about that with Watson. At night, they saw Helen's signal.
CHAPTER 8: THE BEAST IN THE GARDEN
Watson and Holmes climbed up to go to the room where Julia died but Roylott's baboon attacked them.
CHAPTER 9: DANGER IN THE DARK
They got inside Julia's room and they waited for more than three hours. Suddenly they heard that something was on the bellrope. They couldn't catch that and they heard Roylott screaming. They decided to go to his room.
CHAPTER 10: THE CASE IS CLOSED
They solved the case. Roylott used one of his strange animals (the deadliest snake in India) because he wanted to stop Julia and Helen getting her mothers money. The same snake killed Roylott. Holmes and Watson go back home.
